The most anticipated month of the year, November is always so rich in hockey spirit that it makes our hearts skip a beat. We’re all ready for team road trips and getting those W’s. You can trust that your long school day will be followed up with a good, hard practice and team off-ice session. Our afternoons and holiday breaks promise plenty of ice time that we have been craving since the end of last season.
For girls playing New England prep school hockey, we have states in Marlborough, Massachusetts with our fall hockey team. Following this tournament, we will return back to school and jump right into our season that Wednesday! The focus for many coaches is to get your players right into shape, considering the season ahead. We all know when our coach says “Get on the line” that we have some work to do. But putting in that time and effort is undoubtedly going to help any player, or for that matter any team, to achieve success in the future. The hardest part is to be able to pick up the intensity all season long. Each and every player’s work ethic is put to the test.
May the strongest team prevail.
