Tickets for Riveters & Devils NWHL/NHL Doubleheader at Prudential Center on Sale Now

BROOKLYN, NY, October 10, 2017
– Single-event tickets for the landmark NWHL-NHL doubleheader featuring the Metropolitan Riveters and New Jersey Devils on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Prudential Center are on sale now at the league’s official website, NWHL.zone.

Celebrating the first-of-its-kind partnership between NHL and NWHL clubs, the doubleheader features the Riveters hosting the Boston Pride at 1:30 pm, followed by the Devils facing the Arizona Coyotes at 7:00 pm. While all Riveters players will be available for a special autograph session post-game, fans are also permitted to leave the building between the NWHL and NHL games.

Fans have two affordable options at NWHL.zone to purchase tickets to this special event:

·      A $40 ticket gets you a ticket to both the Riveters-Pride matinee and an upper-level seat for Devils-Coyotes at night.

·      As an even more cost-friendly option, all fans purchasing season tickets to the Riveters (just $150) will receive a lower bowl ticket to the New Jersey-Arizona NHL game.

All current Riveters season ticket holders will receive lower-bowl tickets to the Devils game that night, and Devils season ticket holders will get their usual seats for the Riveters-Pride game.

On Oct. 5, it was announced that the Devils had become the first NHL franchise to form a strategic partnership with NWHL team. The goal of the new strategic alliance is to support the growth of the NWHL and increase the development and visibility of girls’ and women’s hockey in New Jersey and across the metropolitan area.

About the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL)
Established in 2015, the NWHL became the first professional women’s hockey league in North America to pay its players and share in revenue from select apparel sales. The mission of the league is to promote and develop women’s hockey, increase participation and interest in the sport at all levels, and shine a light on the role models that fill the rosters of all of its clubs. The league is made up of the Founding Four: Boston Pride (2016 Isobel Cup champions), Buffalo Beauts (2017 champions), Connecticut Whale and Metropolitan Riveters, and will add more teams in the coming years. Prior to its third season in 2017-18, the NWHL signed a landmark contract with the New Jersey Devils, who became the first NHL team to form a long-term partnership with one of its clubs (Riveters). The league also has a global broadcast agreement with Twitter. For more information, please visit NWHL.zone and follow the league on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook @NWHL
