MEET SOPHIE!

Tell us about yourself!

My name is Sophie, I am from Sudbury Ontario and I play forward (left wing) in hockey. My hockey story is I started playing at 4 and have loved it ever since!

What made you want to be a WHL Brand Ambassador?

I wanted  to be a WHL Ambassador because I want girls to know that they have someone to look up to in hockey.
 

What are you most looking forward to as a #WHLAMBASSADOR?

I am most looking forward to just having fun!
 

If you could sit down and have dinner with one female hockey player, who would it be and why?

I would sit down with Rebecca Johnston because I have been looking up to her since I was a little kid.
 
 
 

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given in hockey or in life?

A good hockey player plays where the puck is. A great hockey player plays where the puck is going to be.
 
 

What’s your dream for women’s hockey?

My dream for women’s hockey is for all girls to get a chance to see a PWHL game!
