Why Are You A Hockey Player?

Why are you a hockey player? Sure, you’ve played since you were just a little kid. We all had a spark of passion that influenced us to gear up for the first time. And I know we are all so thankful that we followed that instinct. But throughout our lives, we have held onto that spark all the way. But why after so many years, does the flame continue to burn as we strive towards greatness. Let’s just say, it isn’t because we have a lot of free time on our hands.

When people ask you what sport you play, only one comes to mind immediately. There’s a reason for that. And it goes as followed… we can’t resist. In all of our being, we can’t think of a single reason to stop. We want to live moments that we will be proud of one day, and hockey helps us do that.

It is a challenge that we have all taken. One stride forward to something big…something truly great. The differences  you between and the girl next to you mean nothing when you lace up your skates. You are here to have a little fun and a lot of success, and you are willing to do whatever it takes to prove that.

So why is it important that you are a hockey player? It is important because it tells the world something. It tells the world that you are here and that you are not going down without a fight. It means that you are here to make something happen, and you’re ready to show that. Because ice time is our time, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
