Updated Details on PWHPA’s Dream Gap Tour Toronto

Share

The Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) has announced that, as a result of Quebec’s new restrictions surrounding COVID-19, Team Harvey’s (Montreal) has made the difficult decision to withdraw from this weekend’s Secret Dream Gap Tour showcase in Toronto. The health and safety of fans, players and staff remains the top priority for the PWHPA; strict COVID-19 protocols will continue to be followed throughout the event, including added measures to protect all parties involved.

Saturday’s previously scheduled 1pm game at Port Credit Arena has been cancelled and the 4pm game will now feature Team Scotiabank (Calgary) vs. Team adidas (Minnesota). Due to limited spacing and the need for further social distancing, this game will no longer include fans. However, because of spacing capacity at Scotiabank arena, fans will still be welcomed to Sunday’s Championship game. Tickets are still available via Ticketmaster.

Team Sonnet (Toronto) will receive a bye into Sunday’s Championship Game at Scotiabank Arena— they will play the winner of Saturday’s game.
