“Hockey started off as my sport, and then it became my way of life. I realized that I wanted to be clutch not just in games but in every aspect of my life. I wanted to become a person who thrived under pressure and was always counted upon to be a difference maker. Hockey has taught me about teamwork, loyalty, leadership, mental toughness, and confidence. To silence the noise and find the peace within has been my greatest challenge. Some of my greatest memories and moments of learning have come from hockey. It has never been “just a game to me.” Hockey is my passion, my pride, and part of my identity."
