First Half of NAIT Ooks Season

Share

Hello It’s Livia again! I must tell you, time flies by. The last time you heard from me, we were getting ready to take on the Olds Broncos.

As always, we started off our series against Olds on the road. It was our first road game of this season, which was very exciting for all of us. We ended up winning this game 1-0. We bounced back to play them at home, where we worked hard to get another big win. After 60 minutes of very intense play, the scoreboard showed a score of 3-1 in our advantage.

We then headed to Sylvan Lake on Thursday to take on Red Deer. We showed how much of a determined and hard working team we are by beating Red Deer 4-1. However, we stayed calm and couldn’t wait to play them back again. Unfortunately, we gave up the home win again. Losing 1-0 was a bit painful, but we kept our heads up because one loswe cannot get our confidence down.

After a quick turn around of a couple practices, we faced SAIT on Friday. We had no idea what kind of team they were going to have this year, so we made sure to stick to the plan and did everything that we had been asked to do. I must say, it was worth it. We ended up winning this game 7-4. On Saturday, we took a road trip to Calgary to play a second game against SAIT. We beat them 4-1, and got our second sweep of this season.

Now, we are heading to the last four games of the first half of the season. We are ready to take on the Griffins this upcoming Friday and Saturday, and the Olds Broncos on November 23rd and 25th.

Wish us luck!
