Hi!
My name is Mackenzie Yuile aka M-dog aka Mack Attack, 11 years old from Aurora, Ontario. I have been playing hockey since I was 4 years old and currently play with the Markham Stouffville Stars U13AA team.
What made you want to be a WHL Brand Ambassador?
It’s a great opportunity to amplify the voices of female hockey players and celebrate the accomplishments of female players at all levels of hockey.
What are you most looking forward to as a #WHLAMBASSADOR?
Connecting with and learning from others with a passion for hockey
What’s something not a lot of people know about you?
I love reading, music, travelling! I also enjoy public speaking and would like to be a sports commentator. More specifically, I would like to take over for Jeff O’Neill on TSN overdrive. You see, I already took his number (92) and his name (mdog/odog) and next I will take his job!!! Mahaha!
If you could sit down and have dinner with one female hockey player, who would it be and why?
Hayley Wickenheiser – she is such an inspiration on and off the ice. Her drive and focus is relentless and I am a huge fan!
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given in hockey or in life?
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take – this applies on and off the ice
What’s your dream for women’s hockey?
For women’s hockey to be seen as equal to men’s hockey
