My name is Madison Morris but I go as Maddie or Mad Dog. I am from Ambler, Pennsylvania. I got into hockey because my cousins played and my dad asked me if I’d be interested and I agreed. From the first moment I stepped on the ice I knew it was my sport!

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BE A WHL BRAND AMBASSADOR?

I would love to be a WHL brand ambassador because I love being on a team that would help expand women’s hockey!

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO AS A #WHLAMBASSADOR?

I am most looking forward to playing a role in expanding women’s hockey!

WHAT’S SOMETHING NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I enjoy singing and listening to music!

IF YOU COULD SIT DOWN AND HAVE DINNER WITH ONE FEMALE HOCKEY PLAYER, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

If I could sit down with one female hockey player it would be Meghan Duggan because she is known to have a lot of great leadership and I enjoy watching her play. She has a very good style of play and I feel I could learn a lot from her.

WHAT’S THE BEST ADVICE YOU’VE EVER BEEN GIVEN IN HOCKEY OR IN LIFE?

The best advice I’ve been given in life and hockey is that you can do anything you put your mind to and always strive for whatever your goal is and when you get there don’t stop, keep getting your other goals.

WHAT’S YOUR DREAM FOR WOMEN’S HOCKEY?

My dream for women’s hockey is that they will expand and their games will be televised for all of us to watch and that one day they will be equal to men’s hockey.
