Sauce Us a Follow

Whether you are still playing and practicing with your team, or your season has ended, training can be done year round. We have compiled five stick-handling drills that may be new to some or routine for others, but either way, they are great drills to add to your off ice training routine.

We are featuring a drill from pro athlete for KMH Budapest in the EWHL league, Hayley Williams. In this simple drill, you are practicing faking a defender, grab your stick and puck or ball and follow along here.

If you enjoyed that drill and are interested in attending a high quality on ice training camp, Hayley Williams is going to be hosting an amazing camp for girls at Risttucia Arena in Wilmington, Massachusetts on May 14th-16th.

It is limited to 30 players and for players with birth years 2007-2010. Players can expect a high performance experience with three days of ice time and two of those days include two on ice sessions. Spots are filling fast, register today here.

For a real challenge, add this to the end of your routine and stick handle with your eyes closed! Demonstrated by Brianna Decker.
