2. PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S HOCKEY LEAGUE (PWHL) ANNOUNCES FINAL TEAM ROSTERS

157 players from 12 countries will be part of the inaugural PWHL season.

“TORONTO, ON (December 12, 2023) – Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) teams have completed training camp evaluations and named 157 of the world’s best players, representing 12 different countries, to final rosters for the league’s inaugural season. All six team rosters consist of 26 players, including 23 signed to Standard Player Agreements and three Reserve Player Contracts.
