MEET AMELIA!

Tell us about yourself!

Hi! My names Amelia miller, I live in leighton buzzard and am joining milton keynes storm in September! I started watching hockey in January 2022 and have loved it ever since. I started my own hockey journey in December of 2023 with weekly skating lessons before starting hockey excellence in January 2024.

What made you want to be a WHL Brand Ambassador?

I have followed WHL for a while on social media and decided to take the leap to become an ambassador!

What are you most looking forward to as a #WHLAMBASSADOR?

I am most looking forward to the support from the many ambassadors aswell as WHL themselves!!

What’s something not a lot of people know about you?

That I love football and tennis!

If you could sit down and have dinner with one hockey player, who would it be and why?

Sarah Nurse, because she plays in the PWHL and shes inspired me to begin hockey despite it being a male dominated sport and helped me see that I can play hockey and achieve aspirations despite being mostly men.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given in hockey or in life?

“Don’t wait for the perfect moment, take a moment and make it perfect.”

What’s your dream for women’s hockey?

Playing for GB in the future and hopefully joining a professional women’s team. Aswell as showing other girls that it’s possible to achieve their dreams.
