Another notably prestigious women’s ice hockey championship includes the Beanpot Tournament, a beloved annual event held in Boston, Massachusetts, featuring the top women’s teams from four major universities: Harvard, Boston University, Boston College, and Northeastern. In 2025, the Northeastern Huskies claimed their third consecutive Beanpot title by defeating the Boston University Terriers 4-0 on January 27, 2025. This victory brought their total number of Beanpot titles to twenty, cementing their dominance in the tournament.
