Trinity Bantams Welcome Incoming Freshmen

Before anything else, I want to quickly take the time to introduce myself. My name is Cheeky Herr, I am a rising Junior at Trinity College. I grew up in New Jersey but attended high school at Choate Rosemary Hall. I am majoring in History, minoring in Classical studies, and I play forward for the Bantams.

Two weekends ago a number of us got together to play in the Beantown Classic, a hockey tournament in Boston. It was great to be reunited and able to play with my friends and teammates again. Two of our incoming freshmen also came out and played for the team and it was awesome to get to meet them and welcome them into the Trinity family.

This summer has flown by and with only a few weeks left until school starts, I am very excited to head back to school as are my teammates. It is amusing that when we I was younger I would count down to the first day of school, then when I was in middle school and high school I would dread the start of school, and now, headed into my junior year of college, I cannot wait to head back to school. Once we are all back on campus workouts and captains practices will begin. Although we have been training all spring and summer, the Fall is crucial because it is when we bond, shake off the cobwebs, and start working together as a cohesive unit.

I look forward to updating you all in September!
