We are thrilled to announce the return of the Ancaster Avalanche Shootout, taking place December 19–21, 2025 in Ancaster, Ontario!
This exciting tournament will feature a 4-game guarantee and—new this year—NO TIES. That’s right: every game will go to a shootout if tied after three periods, including during round robin play. It’s a fast-paced and competitive way to cap off the first half of your season before the holiday break!

Please ensure your team registers in the division/level assigned by the OWHA. Teams registering in the wrong division may be removed from the tournament at their own expense, as per the Tournament Withdrawal/Removal Policy.
