Team Effort Lifts Blades Past the Stars

What a great game!

The play went back and forth as did the lead but at the end of the day the Bladies were able to rally and come out with the W! There were some important moments to acknowledge today. Jen Schoullis played in her first game as a Bladie and tore it up. Due to low numbers, Karen Tatcher took a spin at defense. That’s what being a professional athlete is all about! When the bell rings, someone has to step up and answer it. Karen was a total champ, and held the blue like a veteran.

Molly Schaus was also exceptional between the pipes, running show when chaos struck in the D-Zone. Kelli Stack was a sniper with two Gino’s, top cheese.  More than any individual effort, it was a team success. Even down a goal, the Bladies showed no doubt and no fear. We are so lucky and grateful to be a part of such a great program.

Now time to catch some ZZZZs and prep for the quick turnaround tomorrow!
