Southern Maine’s Season Comes To An End

Hey all,

Well our season came to an end with a big fight against Norwich. It was a tough game but we stayed in it until the last buzzer and the scoreboard reading 5-0. It was tough to lose this game but being in the semi-finals and losing to this hard working team is something to be proud of. Before we were able to get into the semi-finals we had to put up a huge battle against Salve Regina. This was one of the most competitive and nerve racking games I’ve been in. Our team stuck together an fought hard to receive a 5-2 victory.

Now that the season is over I try not to have so much free time on my hands, so some girls from hockey and I have a workout plan going every morning. Also, at times I head over to the gym and play some basketball and indoor soccer to keep myself active and busy. At night I work intramural sports where I tend to jump in to some games of dodge ball, kickball, soccer and starting this week, hockey.

The weather here in Maine and around New England has been crazy; we’ve been getting a mixture of snow storms and sunny nice days. Watching the snow and ice melt is quite depressing but it is great to have some nice spring weather, and hoping to have that weather around to enjoy spring break.

That’s about all for now, just relaxing working out and playing some pick up hockey is a great time to enjoy.
