Members of Trinity College Participate at Beantown Classic Tournament

Hello All,

Hope everyone is having a great summer! It has been a while since I have last written so this entry can only mean one thing….school is right around the corner.

Summer for me has consisted mostly of working as a server at a local restaurant downtown, Big River Bar and Grille and hanging out with friends. And, what would a summer vacation be if not for summer hockey and off ice workouts! Most of my summer has been spent at home, but I did manage to make a trip up to Massachusetts for the Beantown classic. Our team was the Navy Selects and even though we didn’t have the best record it was a blast getting to play and hang out with girls from the team (and we even managed to win a game). Not only did our team consist of returners but we even had some veterans and some new freshman join in on the fun. For the rest of the summer I am relaxing until I head back up to Trinity next week. As always I am so excited to move in, see my roommates, my teammates, and meet our new freshman. I can’t believe that is it my junior year and that I am more than halfway done with college.

As for school, this semester is going to be tough as I am taking four classes, genetics, organic chemistry, spanish and biology of infectious disease and interning at a vet clinic. I am looking forward to moving in and having a few days to hang out with friends before school starts up full swing and we are all busy doing our own thing. I look forward to keeping you all updated on my junior year, as well as our hockey season, which we are all excited for. As always I think this year is going to be a new and fun journey and I think I speak for everyone in saying that we can’t wait for it to be Novemeber 1st. We are looking forward to having Carson Duggan back as our head coach and are looking forward to meeting our new assistant coach. The next time I write I will be back at school, moved in and already head deep in homework.

Have a great rest of the summer!
