I taught myself how to play hockey in middle school. Aside from drawing, it was one of the hobbies that I completely immersed myself in. I love the fast paced environment of the sport and learned how to play every position, including goal.
During my high school years I started to get involved in graphic design and managed to then combine graphic design and hockey—two passions that became a huge part of my life. I formed M-Graphx, an ice hockey design brand in which I started designing goalie masks, pads, and apparel. As an amateur I slowly developed a reputation of designing for local clients and small businesses through social media. I carried M-Graphx throughout my university years where I played Division 4 Club Roller Hockey for the Stony Brook Seawolves.
I am proud to say that M-Graphx is now part of the Lefevre Goalie family, and have assisted in the design process with multiple lines of equipment, including upcoming designs. I would have never thought I would have been in this position, working with professional goalies in an international environment, but I am truly honored to be where I am today.
