Loebs and Teammates are Home for the Holidays!

I just arrived home, had my last final this morning. So happy I survived my first semester of college!

The past two weekends we have been on the road visiting Salve Regina, Holy Cross, and Potsdam. After two tough weekends we ended the first semester with ice on Monday and Tuesday night to fool around and scrimmage with the men’s team. Having time to just relax and play hockey during finals week was so much fun and a great way to take a study break.

Coming home for just about two weeks for Christmas is so exciting. I cannot wait to see my family and friends back home and relax during the holidays. It definitely will be weird to not be with my Saint Mikes family.

I got home and the first thing I did was go to see my high school girls play Newton South. They won 4 to 1 and I rode the bus with them and had a great time being with my girls again. I am planning on skating with them during practices too which will be fun and great to keep my legs going on top of other workouts.

We will be back on New Year’s Day for practice at 2 to get us ready for a series of games over break. We are hosting a winter holiday tournament, playing Sacred Heart and Potsdam for a third time. We also will host Norwich.

I am excited to be back on campus early, it sounds like it will be a lot of fun. The men’s hockey team will also be on campus which will make the lonely weeks on campus fun!
