Guildford Lightning Finishes Season in 3rd Place

The season has now ended for the year and the Guildford women’s team ended up placing 4th in the league.  This means that we would be playing the 1st place, Bracknell Queen Bees, at playoffs weekend. We unfortunately lost against Bracknell, meaning that we would play in the 3rd/4th game the following day. We ended up playing Sheffield Shadows for 3rd place.  It was an even-sided match overall and we managed to beat them 1-0, placing us 3rd for that weekend.

Now that the season has ended, I am keeping up my fitness in preparation for September when I will be attending Scanlon Creek Hockey Academy for 6 months. This includes two running sessions and a total of 4 circuits to do a week which has all been planned out by my S&C coach, through TASS!
