Hockey season is now back in full swing and winter is just around the corner. Definitely the best time of the year! Everything has been going well in Hanover thus far and Thompson Arena has been filled with excited fans for the past couple of weeks. Our team got off to a bit of a slow start (standings wise) but we are beginning to catch our stride and it is starting to show. Things are starting to come together and before we know it we will be right back on track. Our record is definitely not our main focus right now as we know that if we push ourselves to improve daily and keep working towards a common goal things will fall into place.
Final exams are just around and the Christmas vibe is already making its way around campus. Since class ends quite early at Dartmouth and the hockey season is still going on our team gets to stay on campus for two extra weeks with nothing to focus on other than hockey. It is definitely our favorite part of the school year as we are treated like professional athletes and have no classes to attend. When we are not at the rink during this two week period, we have a lot of free time on our hands where we do a lot of team bonding activities to get us in the holiday spirit. I can’t wait!
For now our heads will be stuck in the books in order to finish off the term on a high note!
Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone,
